We are building quite the catalog of artist we have featured here at HLX. Deli aka Delirowe is a more then welcome addition to the list. She was born right here in Richmond, Virginia. Her love for music sparked early, as she began singing in her church youth choir.
As both her talent and passion grew, she continued to sing in a variety of different choirs and groups. She can even be seen singing along aside another artist you may recognize, Corey El. They both are member of local group “Visions” who can be seen preforming at many definitely venue around the city. Those include the Martini Kitchen, Hippodrome, and Brickstone Grill to name a few.
Back in 2010 she wrote and produced her first EP entitled ‘Growing Pains, which was inspired by the struggles of completing her Bachelor of Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Recently she has taken some great steps forward in her career. In 2014 she released her new single “Losing Ground”, which introduced her to a more mainstream crowd and allowed her to gain a worldwide following. Deli also was voted to perform during Richmond’s annual Stone Soul Music & Food Festival. She joined the list of many great acts including, Jodeci, August Alsina, The Migos and more.
She is now working on her next EP entitled “The Art of Possibility”. The project is set to be released September 1st, 2015 and feature collaborative efforts across multiple genres including Pop, Jazz, and Hip Hop.
