Welcome to the first episode of VA 2Up-2Down. 2Up-2Down is the story of BoneQuesha who is an expiring singer wanting to make it to the big time.
BoneQuesha is very talented but has a whole lot of issues that seems to derail her chances at the big time. BoneQuesha was first inspired to start singing after her first solo at Mount Zion Episcopal AME Baptist Davidic Worship Center of Richmond VA. BoneQuesha sucked in all the applause and immediately knew singing was her lifelong calling. BoneQuesha left the church on a high and promised her 2 year old daughter Dialup that she was going to make it big. BoneQuesha made it her mission to sing any and everywhere should could.
In an attempt to get known she hit up her girl Kaypon and asked her if she can get her a spot at the Liquid Kitty Lounge for Thursday’s open mic night. Kaypon ensured her that she had her and to just show up on Thursday ready to sing. BoneQuesha was so excited to finally get the opportunity to show the world what she can do that she posted on Facebook and every other social media outlet that she will be performing at the Liquid Kitty Lounge on Thursday for the open mic night.
So excited, BoneQuesha went all day sing and warming up. BoneQuesha works at a call center and used every chance she could get to practice on her customers and give her coworkers a sample of her talent. BoneQuesha sought out a co-worker on the job who had a birthday and volunteered to sing in front of the entire team to help honor her co-worker’s birthday. BoneQuesha killed the Happy Birthday and even went above and beyond and added Amazing Grace as a Happy Birthday remix. BoneQuesha co-workers gave her mad props for the performance which really fueled her enthusiasm for singing.

At this time, DJ JellyRoll made an announcement for the last chance to come up for open mic before the all-Female Pudding wrestling contest begin. BoneQuesha swallowed her fears and started walking up front to the DJ table. Once she got up front, DJ JellyRoll told her to take the mic and start before he cut the lights off. BoneQuesha cleared her throat and….
