As you should know, this Wednesday, August 29th, is when Corey El & The Fam hit the stage for the Til They Know Show. Originally we were told ‘Chico’ El, Corey’s father, was set to open the show. It now appears things have changed. Richmond native, Calvin Brown aka Calvin Presents, has been added to the show and will be the one to get things started. Calvin is a pianist and singer-songwriter who has been playing since the age of 13. Mr. Brown has a seven-piece band who normally performs with and together they embody jazz and gospel music with neo-soul, hip-hop, alt-rock, and even trap music.
We are unsure if he will have the full band with him at the show but we definitely hope so. Calvin says “Music is a place for me to be free, a place where I don’t have to have all the answers. I just try to be as honest as I can.”Truly some profound words. He latest single entitled ‘Dreams’ is a good place to start if you haven’t heard of this gentleman.
