Spring Essentials

Happy First Day of Spring! The snow is finally gone and the temperature is slowly rising. You know what that means?! New season, new fashion! I don’t know about you all, but i’m excited! It’s time to transition your Bill Cosby sweaters back into your winter bin and store your Ugg boots away. It’s no rush though because the Spring temperatures are taking their sweet time breaking through. Have you started your Spring shopping yet? If you haven’t, now is the perfect time! Don’t know where to begin? It’s your lucky day! I’ve compiled a list of must-haves that should be in your closet this season.

1. Palazzo Pants

Having recently made a BIG comeback, the 60’s and 70’s super popular, wide-leg, loose and flowing pants made #1 on my list! What’s so great about these pants is that they’re totally comfortable, and it take 0 effort to put together an outfit. Not to mention how versitile they are; you could dress them up or down. Coming in various colors and an array of prints, you are sure to find a pair of palazzo pants that fit you!

2. Cardigans

This is a very popular trend! Cardigans are a fun way to spice up your outfit and you wouldn’t believe all of the different ways to wear them – oversized, belted, layered, floor length, and the list goes on. Perfect for the spring breeze, cardigans are a must!
3. Basic Boyfriend Tee
Add to your t-shirt collection by adding a boyfriend tee to your closet. They’re light, convenient, and can be paired with just about anything!
Don’t worry, they come in more colors than just white. Spice it up with a personal touch of you, wear it plain, or wear your addiction (whatever that may be) and you’ll be just fine.
4. Fedora Hat
How about you channel your inner hipster and purchase yourself one of these bad boys! These particular hats have always been in style – you just have to know which type  of fedora hat to purchase and how to properly wear it. Whether dressed up with a cute sun dress or dressed down with a pair of jeans and tee, you can never go wrong with a fedora.
5. Boyfriend Jeans
These are no passing trend. Who doesn’t love a good pair of boyfriend jeans?! This trendy demin has been in for years and I’m pretty sure they’re here to stay. The bagginess make the sloppy-casual look very easy to achieve.
6. Maxi Skirts
Fun and flirty, you can never go wrong with a maxi skirt. Mix and match it with a cute tank or a basic v-neck or scoop neck tee; dress it up or dress it down, whatever you decide these skirts are PERFECT for spring weather!
7. Casual Sneakers
We all have those days where we just want to keep the sandals and heels stored away, which is why having a pair of casual sneakers…or five is necessary. Just because you want to wear sneakers for the day doesn’t mean they have to be bulky and unattractive.
8. Ballet Flats
My how ballet flats have come a long way! Every season they just keep getting better and better! They are very comfortable and practical. Although very versatile, the outfits you choose to wear with them should be picked out carefully. Every women’s foot is different and can be very unappealing on some. You can dress them up or down. However your choose to wear them, they are sure to show off your feminine side.
9. Rain Jacket and Rain Roots

You can’t forget your rainy day gear! With Spring flowers comes Spring showers and you and I both know that Mother Nature holds nothing back on us! It is imperative that you purchase a rain jacket and rain boots for this season. You’ll be excited to know that both the rain jacket and rain boots have upgraded since they first came out. You are sure to find something that fits your personal style.
