New Music|’Feelings’ – Gourty Maxx

If you’re familiar with songs like Top Floor, Long Distance or my personal favorite, Boyz, then it’s safe to say that you must be a fan of GMJR. However, if you haven’t been keeping up, GMJR has not only dropped a new single called Feelings, he is also now going by the name Gourty Maxx.

Even if you missed the name change, Gourty Maxx is still producing gems that you can rock to and fall in love with. That is exactly what you will do with this single. Feelings is an upbeat R&B bop in which Gourty pairs up with Key Latrell. (Check out Key Latrell here.)

Fellas you don’t have to accept that invitation to the friend zone any longer. Gourty and Key Latrell are calling the ladies out on this one. “I know you’re catching feelings” Key sings over the vibe filled beat as he calls his love interest out on her games. This is the perfect track as we approach draft time for cuffing season.

If you’re looking for a song to bop to while working or just something to vibe to while you’re cruising down the highway, this is the perfect option. Check out Grammy nominated producer and music director Gourty Maxx on all of his socials and give the track a listen below.

About the author
Growing up on the South Side of Chicago I was taught at a young age how to hustle, be independent and resilient. Since a mere child, I have always been one to guide my own destiny. After spending my high schools years at Jones College Prep, a magnet school in downtown Chicago, I went on to receive 8 full ride scholarships to various universities around the country, something I never would have expected. Ultimately, I made a wonderful decision in choosing my college home at the illustrious North Carolina A&T State University. Aside from mastering the art of the 'turn up', college taught me so much more. However, this didn’t just include the ins and outs of Computer Science. College gave me a window to various styles, personalities and looks. This is where my passion for media, radio, art and imagery flourished.
